This subtropical summer seasonal was carefully crafted with hand selected hops and just the right amount of sweet grapefruit to quench the thirst of IPA and easy drinking fruit beer lovers alike.

Partially cloudy burnt gold with a fairly tall off-white head of puffy foam.
Way more balanced on the spicy, piney end of IPA than the fruited, and as such more drinkable than most of these crappy fruited IPAs that are out there, I get a touch of biscuit backbone before a hint of spicy grapefruit comes out.

L-golden nearly transparent with moderate white head that fades to light lacing
S-bright and more hints of grass than citrus
T- like the nose, an excellent hop character steps up but in the taste manages to share the stage with citrus flavors (although not sure I could really say grapefruit). Minimal bitterness or sweetness keeps the entire effect quite balanced
F-moderate carbonation, no stickiness. Medium bodied.
O-a refreshing flavorful ipa that uses citrus flavors but doesn’t leave its roots behind.

I thought I remembered Masthead doing something like this before but this one is all new. It's a great one for the warmer weather,
It pours yellow, transparent and nice and foamy. The aroma is hoppy with a grapefruit undertone. The taste is nice and dry with the citrus aiding the hops nicely. It has no boozy taste and a fairly clean mouthfeel. It should stand up to food nicely. The whole experience is very refreshing.
Recommended. It makes for a nice seasonal change of pace.

IPA plus grapefruit and a nice smooth finish. I’m not a connoisseur of beer but it’s a wonderful beer for spring; it’s refreshing and crisp. I’m enjoying it and it’s fresh!
