We partnered with our friends at six shooter coffee to bring you this best up of our two favorite beverages. The lightly roasted Ethiopian Guji coffee beans used in this beer bring flavors and aromas of berry and cocoa that pair perfectly with the roasty notes from the stout.

Pours a clear, dark brown, appears near-black and opaque in the glass; thick head, khaki colored, dense and creamy textured. Nice milk chocolate and cocoa powder nose with a whiff of dark roast coffee in the background. Refined and flavorful taste; milk chocolate with a balanced low-key coffee presence; a bit of grain char and coffee ground bitterness. Heavy body; smooth and silky.

I like a good coffee beer. This one fits the bill. The base beer strikes me as being a milk stout while the Ethiopian coffee adds a fine nuance to the overall beer. Well-balanced and sublimely complex.

16oz can. Adhesive label, easy to peal. Bottom date stamp is 'CANNED ON 09/09/25 10:39 COFFEE'.
Dark brown colored body, with a mahogany brown back lit edge. One finger of light brown colored head, and this reduces to an interrupted cap and thin ring. Left behind are a few scattered small lacing spots.
Aroma is primarily dark roast coffee but also dark roasted malts and cocoa.
Taste is sweet, with the expected dark roast coffee bitterness. Flavors of dark roast coffee, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, and a bit of dark fruit in the late stages of the profile. Aftertaste is still controlled by the roast coffee.
Less than medium mouthfeel. Smooth and creamy texture. Some tongue numbing. Supportive carbonation.
Must like coffee in one's stout in order to enjoy this, but if so, this is very well done for style. Lots of tasty coffee.

Nitro. Dark brown, frothy head. Good lacing. Nose is coffee. Creamy coffee, lots of coffee. Sweet but cut nicely with the dark coffee. Pretty good.

CANNED ON 01/23/25. Poured into a Duvel tulip.

A: Black with two fingers of beige foamy head with average retention, but copious lacing.

S: Aroma is mostly dominated by coffee and roasted malt. There’s a hint of cocoa, but that’s it.

T: Flavor is more intense than the aroma with more cocoa mixed with coffee, medium caramel, roasted malt, and a light Berry note in the aftertaste. Bitterness is medium.

M: This beer is just a touch too dry, which leaves a slight stringency in the finish. Medium body and otherwise enjoyable.

O: Masthead comes again with an impressive stout. Great balance of coffee and cocoa, along with some nice caramel and berry characteristics.

Was feeling stout was the way to go on this chilly evening and this was a hit! Obviously quality coffee beans involved in this delicious brew ... Even getting a hint of the bitterness from the grounds ... I enjoyed it!

Two fingers worth of big rich active fat khaki colored froth... Solid retention... color is a deep rich mahogany brown that lets a bit of light leak in around the edges... Big aroma... Deep rich coffee, brown sugar and a faint hint of smoke... Flavor profile is stellar and matches the nose... Big flavors I. Perfect proportion... Feel if medium to full bodied... Some spry carbonation... Sleek... Outstanding beer, no real complaints... I would gladly enjoy this any day...

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, tan head of fluffy foam. It left sudsy lacing on the glass. It smelled of roasted coffee, caramel and dark chocolate. Great coffee taste with toffee, chocolate and caramel.

16 oz can into a glass.
Look: Pitch black with a thin khaki head. Looks like a frothy cup of coffee. Leaves nice lacing.
Smell: roasted coffee beans and a hint of cocoa. Has that nice aroma of a bag of fresh coffee beans.
Taste: Exactly like the smell - coffee with a hint of cocoa finish. Not too bitter. Like a good medium roast coffee.
Feel: Nice balance between smooth and crisp. Feels almost creamy up front before the carbonation starts to tickle the tongue.
Overall: Blew away my expectations. This is fantastically well balanced. As someone who loves different coffees and different stouts, this is a great marriage between the two. Smooth with a nice bite. The best of both brews.

16oz canned 9-22-22, opened 11-19-22.
Huge almost 3 finger head, rocky, dense, and full of staying power. Dark body at the core with some brown at the edges. Good lacing. Big coffee aroma with some smoke and a light fruity backing. Roasted malt and black coffee provide a nice bittersweet pop. Medium body, low-medium carbonation with a roasty and dry (tannic) finish. Very Good.
