It seems like forever since I went to Masthead - I really think their brews are much better in person as they have some stronger ones.
This one opens with a nice tan head. The aroma is interlaced with coffee. The taste is dry and bitter on top of roasty malts. It is not particularly complex tasting. The mouthfeel is not at all thick. The experience is more like "easy drinking" than special tasting. I would have liked this better as a somewhat bigger stout.
Recommended. It is not a great value at $3.29/ can. It should be a bigger stout.
