Every fall we spend a significant time in the Pacific Northwest meeting with hip growers, assessing the harvest, picking the choicest hops in the world, and sharing great beers and ideas with other brewers. When designing this beerwe leaned on those experiences to brew a double ipa in the west coast style. Lean west features a refined bitterness followed by notes of stone fruit, orange zest, and mango. Expect a crisp finish that lifts off tbe palate after every sip.

Samples. Clear pale gold colored. Thick grapefruit west coast fruits. Lots of resin like hops and hints of garlic/onion hop that I’m not crazy about. Just not my thing.

Quite a nice stab at the hallowed WCDIPA. Floral, citrus, pine w/ a nice dry bitterness in the end. This would be welcome in my fridge any time

On tap at location in Cleveland. Annual Christmas trip to the land of the Dawg Pound.
This is like walking through Sequoia National Park and breathing deeply! Grapefruit, tangerine, pine dankness. Love this one! It's an easy drink.

I bought a 4pck of tall boy cans of this beer from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base with slighly bitter tropical citrus fruit medley presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Either we are leaning to the West or we are a little lean on the West flavor. Either works for this easy drinking big AIPA.
This pours a nice clean deep golden with nice head. The aroma is a clean and a little light. The taste is a nice light tasting experience, completely hiding the alcohol with just a bit of malty sweetness.
Recommended. I hope they produce these all the time - I would buy it again.

1 PINT can
Served in an imperial nonic pint glass
This beer pours golden with a light haze. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
Citrus and resin aroma. Dank
Citrus flavor with a strong pine taste. Citrus is more upfront. Pine is on the backend and into the finish.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
Pretty solid IPA. Masthead makes some good ones.
