While this experimental IPA might not send you into different dimensions, the hop character will certainly transport your taste buds through time. We hopped this edition of The Cleveland Experiment with our select Citra, Mckenzie and Centennial.

1 PINT can
Served in an imperial nonic pint glass
This beer pours a brilliant golden hue and is topped with a couple inches of eggshell head that as some staying power. Rocky lacing clings to the side of the glass as I consume.
It has a pine smell but more malt than I am used to getting in IPAs these days. Pretty balanced between malt and hops.
Toast and toffee flavor upfront followed by earthy flavor and resiny pine in the finish that lingers.
Medium bodied with smooth mouthfeel
Old school IPA. I vaguely remember these from when I was a baby craft beer consumer.

My life IS a Cleveland experiment. I'm always glad to see interesting new brews from Masthead.
This one pours light yellow and clear with nice head. It is pretty. The aroma is sharp and stanky. It's like some old familiar scents, amplified. The taste is clean and bitter and not juicy, It is a very satisfying brew.
Recommended. I have a few more of these cans - I'm looking forward to them.
