Another pepper beer is here!
Brewed with fresh habaneros, the fruity notes from hand-selected hops pair well with that unmistakable aroma and flavor, all backed up with just the right level of spiciness.

1 PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours a brilliant golden hue and is topped with an inch of off-white head that leaves spotty lacing.
Fresh pepper smell with some underlying citrus. Heat builds as I consume.
Pepper forward. There is no mistaking that this is a habanero IPA. It is not hot. There is a little heat with lots of fresh pepper flavor. Citrus in the background
Lighter bodied, especially for a double with a thin mouthfeel
Good pepper smell and flavor without being over the top. Well executed pepper IPA

Poured from a pint can, the body is a lightly hazy gold with a nice white head. Good lacing throughout the tasting.
Nose is a well expressed habanero.
Taste follows nose but the pepper flavor is dampened a wee bit. The habanero flavor is good but not overly hot. Not much going on here, but it drinks easy and masks its considerable ABV.
Compare with another Masthead IPA Ice Melter which marries successfully habanero and grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is good: medium carbonation and soft mouthfeel. Finish has a minor hab burn, but it is short lived.
An okay IPA that is one dimensional.
