Brewed in collaboration with JAFB Wooster Brewery. One thing we know about our elected officials is that they like beer. Some of them REALLY like beer. This West Coast Style IPA is double dry hopped with a hop bill so inflated that it makes the Pentagon's budget look like child's play. Wherever you are, raise one up to your elected officials everywhere.

From can:
A pale yellow, just hazy enough to be translucent body and a foamy head with a fair amount of stickiness. Nose has a base of a classic IPA, with a light hint of pineapple and candied orange (if El Dorado hops were used, I wouldn't be surprised, but it's not so obviousl that I'd be surprised if they weren't). Back to the main aroma, it's a little more grassy than piny, with white grapefruit pith in the mix throughout.
Taste opens with barely any malt influence and the grassy pine bitterness presents up front. It doesn't try to dominate, and the sweeter notes from the aroma have a say. But, in true west coast style, the bitter notes eventually take over, with the pine becoming more prevalent than the grassiness.

Surprised no one has reviewed this. Went to the store specifically for this and they only had one on the shelf, so... anyway, tall can into tulip, yada yada. Pours amber-gold. Only about half a finger of white foam. Smells hoppy, piney. Pleasant mouthfeel. Smooth, velvety, a balanced touch of hops with a bitter but not overwhelming finish. Floral notes. This is a light-bodied beer despite the size. A very no-nonsense collab from a pair of hops masters.
