Mostly opaque brown with no head. Rye and barley with bourbon, caramel, big date, leather, and earth in the nose. Taste as the barrels front and center with barley, background notes prune, molasses and raisin with bitter tones of earth. The feel is pretty boozy, doesn’t get hot, but I would still give it a little more age, if I had another bottle, doesn’t try to hide it’s 13.5% ABV. Barley texture along with the rye is there in a snarly way, otherwise lighter malt
