Pint can poured into a pint glass. The beer is a clear mid-yellow with a big, fluffy white head and plenty of lacing. Aroma of pine with some tropical fruit mixed in. More grapefruit than anything; some citrus. Tastewise, this is a western IPA, but also softer than the preeminant local examples. I would say it's rather piney, crisp, and clean without much in the way of fruit. Just some lingering notes in the background, more melon than anything. The difference is in the lightness, the fluff of the body. It's rather smooth, too.

Bright is a great description for this one! Maybe not my personal favorite WCIPA ever, but it's still a WCIPA... and one that a lot of people will enjoy.
