No canning date; consumed on 9/8/21
Pours an opaque, muddy pale gold body sporting a noticeably rapid effervescence along with a massive, sudsy, white head; retention is decent, fading to a slim layer of foamy cap, a thin, frothy collar, and no lacing holding to the walls of the glass.
Aroma sees the distinctions of rotting guava turn towards barnyard peaking with an almost pungent manure note before the semi-tropical citrus of orange pulp, lemon zest, and peach skins establish themselves in line with damp pine and musty grapefruit for wisps for Chinook poking through the close.
Taste opens tepidly with mango seltzer softly intensified with a grassy minerality; musty orange develops over the mid-palate as distant red berry undertones accent the backdrop of the profile and wet pine needles accompany a barnyard funk lingering quietly through the finish.
Mouthfeel offers a medium-light body paired with an airy, moderate carbonation, dispersing a wispy grit and fading, pillowy prickle over the mid-palate; a nearly bone-dry finish sports a tingly spritz through the finish, forgoing all but the most minimal sensations of bitterness.
A brazen, funk-forward hybrid of a style abruptly transitioning between barnyard stank and mushy tropical fruits, ultimately settling on a disjointed yet entirely unique display of a beer in conflict with itself; drinkable, but the clashing profiles are largely distracting.

This beer is a brett fermented hazy ipa. The beer was better than expected. The brett did not overpower the beer to make it too funky. You could really smell and taste the michigan chinook hops. Definitely was a great experience and worth a shot.
