ONE PINT can
Served in a wine glass

This beer pours such a deep purple color that it is almost black. It looks like a dark red wine. It is topped with a couple inches of pink tinged tan head that exits quickly leaving no trace.

Tart elderberries followed by the basil. It has a nice sour smell. The fruit and herb make a nice balance to the sourness.

Nice sourness. The elderberries and basil come in strong on the first couple of sips. The basil either fades or is overwhelmed by the elderberries and sour flavor.

Thin bodied with a dry mouthfeel

I have yet to be disappointed by a Speciation sour. Great stuff.

Elderberry & basil saison.
Enjoyed on tap.
Pours a dark ruby red.
Aroma is clear, with the hints of a summer breeze. It’s jammy in the sip, some stone fruit and tobacco notes, with a drying finish.
