Genetic Drift is an award winning saison blended in a "solera" style perpetual blend from a 1000 gallon oak foeder. The 2023 version was dry hopped with the classic English hop East Kent Goldings which adds a pleasant earthy/grassy/honey flavor to the base beer.
Like wine vintages, each batch varies from the last, showcasing the subtle shifting of our house cultures from batch to batch, and year to year.

Cloudy dull yellow appearance.
An even pour yielded a nice, noisy white head which quickly dissipated; almost no lace.
Lemon, strawberry & farmhouse funk notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Lemon, strawberry & farmhouse funk flavors; this is fun, balanced & easy to drink, while staying true to the farmhouse/saison aesthetic. Nice!
