750ml
Pours slightly hazy lemon golden, white film for a head.
Aroma of tart lemon and green apple, maybe some grape and an undertone of sourdough bread.
Flavor is of green apple, plenty of funk, some light grassy and bready malts.
Lighter body, minimal carbonation, fairly acidic.
Pretty tasty, glad to have had the opportunity to have tried this. Bracingly sour but also layered with different flavors.

The Laurentian: Lake Michigan Cuvée
Dated 2021, enjoyed July 6, 2023
Bottle 367 of 864
There’s a loud POP once I remove the cork on this bottle. Poured into my glass it appears like champagne. The carbonation dissipates quickly, and I found myself wishing it had a little more fizz to it once it warmed further. Faint aroma, with hints of hay and strawberry vines, and a bright wine grape snap that accompanies the sip. Lightly soured, although the tart finish becomes more noticeable as it opens.
