From a sixteen ounce aluminum can….This beer is a hazy, dark straw color. It has a white head that falls fairly quickly. The aroma is appropriate: banana and bubblegum. The taste is moderately sweet, and there is a nice wheat twang. A bit of phenolic clove flavor comes out as well. Not bad.

16oz can. Poured out a slightly cloudy, straw-yellow color with a small, white head of thin foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of banana, bubblegum, caramel and wheat. Sweet wheat taste with bubblegum, banana and clove.

a decent hefe here, a little overly estery on the yeast side, and perhaps a bit thin in feel compared to the best of them, but its drinkable and simple in a good way, tastes fresh, and was one of their lighter beers on offer in here. looks the part, hazy and pale yellow from the tap at the brewery, not as frothy and high of a white head as i look for in the style, but there is some life to it. smells like more than just the normal banana and clove complexion, in addition to those more familiar hefeweizen layers, i also get ripe peach, orange juice from concentrate, and even a light bubblegum ester. there is a touch of acidity in the middle of this that doesnt really belong and seems to break the wheat malt richness down a little which is a shame, but its mild enough to be almost overlooked. a little peppery pop in the finish, juicy citrus, and a light bready aspect as well from the grain. fine carbonation, a white wine hint, and some light sweetness at the end. i only had time for a couple in here, and liked the pumpkin strong ale best, but this is a reasonable example of the style for such a new brewery. this place is rad, go check it out!
