16 oz can into a nonic pint glass
Classic, clear, pale appearance, the nose if full of crisp citrus pith and tropical aspects. More piney-sharp on palate, grassy and floral. Honeyed malts give just enough balance to make this super crushable.
Another WC gem from the team at Burgeon.

Here's a review from the 2022 dipa festival. Hadn't heard of this brewery before that. Finally getting around to writing the review.
Pours golden, ample clarity, 3/4" white head. Looks pretty. We jammin' in the name of the Lord. The aroma hits a hodgepodge of hop smells, Mosaic seems to lead the way, tropical, berries, weed. I hope you like jammin' too. Nelson is in here, but so are five other hops, so you lose that unique-ness a little bit. Just ain't no fun if the homies can't have none, which is how it feels when you waste Nelson in such a way. Citra, Chinook, Simcoe and Strata references here.
The taste is nice, the hop medley dominates, so pretty much think of every hop descriptor you've ever had absent some weird ones like Summit/Sabro/Neomexicanus and its pretty much that. Hey, they didn't skimp on hops under any circumstance. Every hop flavor is here practically. The malt body is minimal yet efficient at not allowing this to taste boozy. I'll definitely look for their stuff.

[canned 10-05-2022. Will check this year's hop bill later and update]
Lightly golden, almost lemony pour with white foamy head, dissipating into a thin, persistent, soapy ring. Hoppy, herbal, "green grass" nose. Inviting enough. More of that green up front, but almost a fresh-hop/wet-hop green. Fairly light, but the herbal, grassy punch borders on dank. Very light bitter. Really dig the feel; supreme drinkability to the point of crusher.

First impression: Dank. This is a good ipa with unique "green/veggie" notes like cannabis & leafy greens, without bitter aftertaste. A definite must try for anyone that enjoys green, pressed juices and smoothies, or any vegetarians and or pot heads. Only because I believe you will have more appreciation for the flavor notes. Overall a good beer that I will try again on future batches.

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: American Double / Imperial IPA
Glass: Pure Project 14-oz. Teku glass
Price: $4.69
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: May 29, 2020
Consumed: June 5, 2020
Misc.: Canned on May 20, 2020
Spent way too much money on a bunch of beer from North Park Beer Company, Windmill Farms and Bine & Vine. Woof. Was intrigued by this one for two reasons - Burgeon and rotating hops. Looks like I hadn’t had it before, which was surprising to me. This version featured Mosaic, Cashmere, Ekuanot, Simcoe and Amarillo. Was coming just off a Pure Project hazy of Mosaic and Cashmere, so that was fresh on my mind. Was looking forward to this hop combination.
Poured a light amber clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Some light bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. World-class foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Ekuanot right out of the gate. Maybe a little Cashmere, but the rest was kind of muted initially. In came Mosaic, followed by pine, green peppers, pine, herbal, lime, resin, mango, papaya and mandarin orange. Smelled about the same from the can. (Smell - 3.75)
First thing I thought about on the taste was how smooth it was for 8.00 pct. ABV. Not as bitter as I would’ve thought either for a West Coast DIPA. None of the hops really jumped out, which I think is a testament to a good blend. Also could be because of five hops. Got pine, resin, black pepper, herbal, lime, green peppers, mango, papaya and mandarin orange. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. Hardly any bitterness. (Feel - 4.75)
Really liked this one. Would be interested in trying the others, but this went down smooth with just a hint of bitterness. (Taste - 4.25)

This pours a toasty tan gold with thin lacing. I get some hints of guava and pineapple, subdued under a mellow orange marmalade. Lightly bitter, with some stickiness. A little green, surprisingly--or not, as it lives up to its name.

Golden amber color with plenty of foam in the Crooked Line tulip. Hops are "a rotating blend of 6 varieties." Aromatic with honeysuckle and pine. Flavor of peach predominates, followed by the rough bitter astringency. But all quite drinkable in a surly sort of way.
Warm and rich with malt, plus the usual acidic finish of these hop monsters. Overall this is yet another big IPA with the aromatic flush we've gotten to like. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bottlecraft in Liberty Station. Dated on the bottom 11/07/17.
