16 oz can into a nonic pint glass.
Signature IPA from the hopmasters at Burgeon. Classic clear, yellow-tan WC IPA appearance. Nose is freshly cut grass, green apple, pine.
Punchy hop profile on the palate, citrus rind and hints of pineapple. Honeyed biscuits nicely balance, leading to a clean, short finish. Mid-light complexion makes this an easy one to toss back.

Poured from a can born on 4/1/25; pours translucent yellow with minimal foamy head or retention. Crisp and relatively clean. Tastes of bitter citrus rind, honey and bitter hops. Good beer

Picked up a four pack of pint cans. Date on can: 09/08/24.
Pours a clear golden in color with a half inch of foamy white head on top that dissipates rather quickly to a thin layer of lacing that coats the glass as you drink. Carbonation looks average.
Aroma is quite floral with mostly citrusy hoppiness along with some tropical fruity notes and a hint of pine. There's a light honey grain lingering in the background.
Taste follows the nose well. Lightly roasted cracker and honey malts up front and towards the swallow. The rest of the time is dominated by bitter hoppiness, both citrus and pine, as well as some herbal tea and spice. Might be some fruitiness in there as well, perhaps some white plum or berries. Lingering grapefruit pith on the tongue after the swallow. Not quite balanced enough for my taste, which gives it a bit of a tart vibe.
This is medium bodied with moderate carbonation that prickles the tongue as it sits and provides just a hit of zest as it goes down. A bit oily, which keeps it from feeling thin. Drinks pretty smooth and crisp and finishes a touch dry. Quite drinkable for the ABV.
This is a quality offering, though not quite what I prefer in an IPA. I think I'm also getting quite tired of beers that feature Mosaic hops. Would not turn down if offered, but would not seek this one out myself. Cheers!

Getting IPA back to their bitter roots, Burgeon's West Coast styled IPA celebrates what's best about their little cones with Amarillo and Mosaic varieties with a crisp and concise malt backbone.
Treevana pours largely bright gold and with a fine haze. As a frothy white head builds, the bold aromatic perfume of orange, grapefruit, pineapple, lime and plum all entice the nose before the first sip leans in with a supple sweetness of light honey, faint caramel and a soft cereal breadiness.
Any sweeter impressions are short lived as the beer makes a quick transition to hop flavors with a ripe, plump and juicy character of those citrus, tropical, stone fruit flavors. Quickly trending bitter, there's still a supportive and smooth bitterness that's highlighted with a spicy herbal bite of sassafras, verbena and lemon pepper to close.
Medium bodied and sharing the slight character of hazier and juicier ale, the beer still prefers a drier and more bitter finish with an classic aftertaste of pine and citrus peel.

Golden in color with lots of initial carbonation. Head is white that quickly dissipates. Nose is piney and somewhat floral. Taste is piney as well with a bite on the back sides of tongue. I would say good to above average beer.
