Pale amber with a nice dollop of foam in the little snifter.Very light and watery body. There's a yeasty hint in the aroma but I'm not tasting much Belgian character. There is a pleasant wheaty taste, though, and the nose is cereal.

It's not much but quite tossable. I'd call this a Single rather than a Saison. On tap at The Local in San Diego.

With a slightly cloudy straw color, its flavor is filled with light yeast and lemon with an Italian bread aftertaste. It is a little sour overall, but refreshing despite the slightly strong carbonation. This is like having a kind of mild sour, which, although isn’t my forte, is nevertheless a very good way to showcase a beer style not many microbreweries have brewed. This is similar to having a lighter, much nicer version of the Abbey Single from Destihl Brewery in Normal, Illinois, even though it technically tastes like a mild sour than a Belgian pale ale.
