Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England Double / Imperial IPA
Glass: Pure Project 14-oz. Teku glass
Price: $4.99
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Oct. 31, 2021
Consumed: Nov. 27, 2021
Misc.: Canned on Oct. 20, 2021
Went over to Windmill Farms to pick up a 4-pack and came back with a bunch of other stuff as well. Had this once before, giving a taster a 4.00 on July 7, 2018. Their website called it “A fan-favorite Hazy Double IPA brewed with Mosaic, Vic Secret, & Simcoe!”
Poured a bright light golden hazy color with two fingers of frothy white head. Could see plenty of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Vic Secret, passion fruit, herbal, viney berry, Simcoe, pine, earthy malt, dish soap, lime, floral and spice. Even a little better out of the can with more herbal and some menthol. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted about as good as the nose. First thing I noticed that at 38 days it may have been a little past its prime. In order got Vic Secret, passion fruit, melon, dish soap, lime, herbal, viney berry, Simcoe, pine, earthy malt, floral, wet grass, spice and some Mosaic on the back end. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, spicy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Like I wrote earlier, this may have been a little past its prime. Still it was outstanding overall. (Overall - 4.00)

Lovely pile of foam in the tall goblet. The brew is hazy, rather than cloudy. Tangy on the tongue with a lush and prickly carbonation. Quite aromatic with citrus and pine. Flavors of lime peel, lemon liqueur, and a touch of hot mustard greens. Some acidity but not too harsh.
Hops are listed as Mosaic, Vic Secret, and Simcoe. Overall this is a flavorful hoppy brew that just sirts the worst excesses of the murky stuff. Seriously fruit-juicy but quite sippable. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine. Dated 07/16/20 on the bottom.
