This one's explosively tropical, with notes of orange creamsicle & coconut. And the mouthfeel? Like floating among the clouds.
Hops: Citra, Strata and Sabro
Malts: 2 Row and Pale Wheat

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England IPA
Glass: Pure Project 16-oz. brandy snifter glass
Price: $4.69
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: May 29, 2020
Consumed: June 4, 2020
Misc.: Canned on May 19, 2020
Spent way too much money on a bunch of beer from North Park Beer Company, Windmill Farms and Bine & Vine. Woof. Was intrigued by this one for two reasons - Burgeon and the hop profile of Citra, Strata and Sabro. Sabro is quickly chasing down Mosaic as my favorite hop, while I’m really coming into Strata. And Citra is probably top 5 as well. Online description for their release called it, “This one's explosively tropical, with notes of orange creamsicle & coconut. And the mouthfeel? Like floating among the clouds.”
Poured a golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of rocky white head. Could see lots of bubbles coming up the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb lacing. Perfect retention. Such an awesome looking beer. (Sight - 5.00)
Smelled tangerine, orange creamsicle, orange blossom, strawberry, coconut, stone fruit, apricot, grapefruit, rose petals, citrus zest and hints of vanilla. Got all three mentioned hops, in order Sabro, Strata and Citra. More Citra from the can than the other two with big grapefruit coming on late. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose, but still really good. In order got grapefruit, Citra, tangerine, Sabro, strawberry, apricot, stone fruit, orange creamsicle, orange blossom, Strata, coconut, vanilla and floral. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Juicy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Another outstanding beer from Burgeon. (Overall - 4.00)
