Spent way too much at Windmill Farms and then at North Park Beer Company, but happy with my selections. Not the biggest Galaxy fan, but I’ve been coming around lately. Burgeon called this, “Stars Align is everything we dreamed of presenting to you in this crushable, Galaxy hop-focused style. Poured a bright golden hazy color with four fingers of rocky white head. Could see some bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass. Almost perfect foamy lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Galaxy, passion fruit, spoiled fruit, pineapple, peach, nectarine, grapefruit, floral and peach blossom. Not quite as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste followed the nose, maybe not quite a good to me. In order got Galaxy, passion fruit, nectarine, peach, grapefruit rind, floral and grass. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
This was an excellent New England Pale Ale. Even with the Galaxy I liked it. (Overall - 4.25)
