Grabbed this as part of a Burgeon/Fall collab mixed 4-pack at Blind Lady Ale House. I love that BLAH is doing these lately as I’m on their website every day. Burgeon’s website called it “We've teamed up with the rad brewers at Fall to bring you a delicious double-dry-hopped exploration of Nelson, Motueka, and Riwaka. Poured a pale-yellow clear color with two fingers of frothy white head. Fast-moving bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Outstanding foamy lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled more Nelson and Riwaka, and lesser Motueka initially. Also pine, lime, herbal, dish soap, green viney vegetable, grapefruit rind, white grape, caramel malt and earthy, grainy malt. More earthy malt from the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted Nelson, pine, white grape, Riwaka, bitter grapefruit rind, lemon zest, lime, viney berry, herbal, dish soap, green vegetable, Motueka, caramel and earthy malt. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long slightly spicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Just an outstanding West Coast Pale Ale. (Overall - 4.00)
