Went to Windmill Farms to grab some stuff for Chad and $113 later I had way too much beer. Another Burgeon beer that I was looking for because rarely do I have a beer from this brewery and not enjoy it. Burgeon’s website called it “Trust us...you're not dreaming Superdream Hazy DIPA is a pillowy soft fantasy that takes a deep exploration into Nelson, Citra, and Simcoe hops.” Nice.
Poured a light golden hazy color with three fingers of rocky white head. Calm setting underneath the head. Perfect layered foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled a nice mix of Simcoe, Nelson and Citra. Specifically got pine, tangerine, orange rind, Tang, orange creamsicle, papaya, grapefruit peel and melon. Just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. In order got Nelson, pine, tangerine, orange rind, Tang, orange creamsicle, Simcoe, papaya, melon, grapefruit peel, Citra and lingering spice. Nice and smooth for an 8.2 pct. ABV beer. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Really like this hazy DIPA, which is the usual thing with a Burgeon beer. (Overall - 4.25)
