Grabbed a can of this while waiting for a sandwich at Windmill Farms. Gave Keep it Simcoe a 4.18, Keep it Mosaic a 4.19, Keep it Nelson a 4.13 and Keep it Citra a 4.18. Untappd description read, “Single Hopped West Coast IPA with our hand-selected Strata hops.”
Poured a medium yellow-to-light golden clear color with four fingers of rocky white head. Lots of fast-moving bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Perfect layered foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Strata, viney red berry, dank pine, passion fruit, mango, some dank weed notes and wet grass. Just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted Strata, viney berry, peppery spice, bitter pine, dank weed, mango, hints of passion fruit, earthy malt and wet grass. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Abrupt, dry, earthy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
