Collaboration with Boneyard Beer and Altamont Beer Works
This fresh brew is loaded with Citra, Strata, and Cashmere. The concept, name, & can are inspired by the mash-up of contemporary hops & techniques paired with our love and appreciation for old-school, crystal-clear, West Coast IPAs. Collaboration with Boneyard Beer & Altamont Beer Works.

Glass: Monkish 16-oz. mug
Price: $3.69
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Feb. 17, 2022
Consumed: March 2, 2022
Misc.: Collaboration with Boneyard and Altamont; Canned on Feb. 4, 2022
Figured it had been a while since I’d been to Windmill Farms so I stopped by for a sandwich and grabbed four beers as well. Online description I found read “This fresh brew is loaded with Citra, Strata, and Cashmere. Poured a pale-yellow clear color with two fingers of frothy-to-fizzy off-white head. Could see lots of bubble streams coming up from the bottom and sides of the glass at fast speeds. So damn clear. Excellent spotty lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Mosaic jumped out on the nose to me but it was not mentioned as a hop. After some more digging I did get Strata, strawberry, red grapefruit, Citra, mango, peach and citrus zest. Not quite as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted just about as good as the nose. Really smooth to me for a West Coast IPA. In order got Strata, strawberry, red grapefruit, Citra, mango, peach, citrus zest, guava and passion fruit. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Smooth finish. (Feel - 5.00)
Damn. What a great beer. So damn smooth. Can’t wait to have many more of these. (Overall - 4.25)

Clear golden yellow brew with plenty of foam in the Scotch Ale thistle glass. Decent spritz on the tongue. Light aroma with hints of citrus and cucumber. Tastes of lime peel with a cereal base. Fairly dry. Hops are listed as Citra, Strata, and Cashmere. Moderate bitter aftertaste and sturdily hopped. Clean and rather austere. From the 16 oz can purchased at Barons Market. Dated 02/04/22.
