Grabbed a bunch of There Does Not Exist and Burgeon beers, and a few others on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Burgeon’s website called it “Dig in & get stoked for Nelson Roots Hazy IPA! Poured a light golden hazy color with five fingers of rocky white head. Could see just a few bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled big Nelson, viney berry, earthy malt, passion fruit, Fruity Pebbles, black pepper, dank resin, pine, tangerine rind, white grape and dry grass. About the same out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. In order got Nelson, viney berry, earthy malt, passion fruit, Fruity Pebbles, black pepper, dank resin, bitter pine, tangerine rind, white grape and dry grass. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, earthy finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Just another awesome IPA from Burgeon. Almost felt more like a West Coast IPA but either way I loved it. Excellent. (Overall - 4.25)
