Got a can of this and a handful of other stuff on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Burgeon’s website called this “Whale Hello There Hazy DIPA is loaded with Strata, Vic Secret, & Citra and splashes down at a whopping 8% ABV. The brew team gets notes of Red Berries, Pineapple, Peach, Mango, & Starburst candy. Soft & chewy, bangin' with fruit action.” Not usually a fan of Vic Secret (the secret is it sucks) but always interested in trying new beers.

Poured a light golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Plenty of bubbles coming up the sides of the glass. Excellent spotty lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.25)

Smelled really good right from the beginning. Strata and Vic Secret stood out, but Citra was there too. Also grapefruit, dank pine, pineapple, mixed berry, Starburst candy, peach, nectarine, mango and guava. Just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)

Damn. Taste was just as good, maybe better. In order got Strata, Vic Secret, Citra, grapefruit, dank pine, pineapple, strawberry, Starburst candy, nectarine, peach, mango and guava. (Taste - 4.25)

Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long finish with a little bit of hop spice. (Feel - 4.50)

I can’t believe how much I liked this beer considering Vic Secret was involved. Just an excellent hazy DIPA. (Overall - 4.50)
