Hopped with one of the best combos on the planet, Strata, Amarillo, & El Dorado, this IPA drips with tropical flavors & aromas that are as dense as the fog of Dagobah.

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England IPA
Glass: Pure Project 14-oz. snifter elemental (air) glass
Price: $4.69
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: May 13, 2022
Consumed: May 27, 2022
Misc.: No canned on date
Picked up a can of this on a recent trip to Windmill Farms along with a bunch of other stuff. Couldn’t really see a canned on date anywhere but knew it was pretty fresh. Untappd description was “Hopped with one of the best combos on the planet, Strata, Amarillo, & El Dorado, this IPA drips with tropical flavors & aromas that are as dense as the fog of Dagobah.”
Poured a medium yellow-to-light golden hazy color with 3-to-4 fingers of frothy white head. Could see lots of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Strata, herbal, pine, lime, El Dorado, watermelon, lemon and menthol. Better out of the can. (Smell - 3.50)
Tasted a little better than the nose. In order got Strata, strawberry, watermelon Jolly Rancher candy, purple grape, El Dorado, orange, herbal, menthol, lime, lemon and pine. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Juicy finish. (Feel - 3.75)
This was very good overall. (Overall - 3.75)
