Hazy IPA collaboration with Ghost Town Brewing hopped with Galaxy, Nelson & Riwaka.
We first brewed Eternal Growth with our Oakland brewery ghouls, err pals, @ghosttownbrewing in 2022. This week, we’re resurrecting this dangerously juicy IPA collab, hopped with deadly doses of Riwaka, Nelson, & Galaxy, for a drinking experience that’ll leave you dying for your next sip. There’s a 6.6% haze in the air & it’s frighteningly lush & fruity

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England IPA
Glass: Pure Project 14-oz. snifter elemental (air) glass
Price: $4.69
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: July 15, 2022
Consumed: July 31, 2022
Misc.: Collaboration with Ghost Town; Canned on July 30, 2022
Went to grab a 6-pack and a few cans at Windmill Farms and came home with 29 beers, spending way too much money. Burgeon’s website called this beer “We partnered with our good friends over at Ghost Town Brewing for a once in a lifetime, juicy IPA collaboration. Hopped with Riwaka, Nelson, & Galaxy, Eternal Growth Hazy IPA is sure to put you in the grave, I mean, in a great mood.”
Poured a light golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of rocky white head. Could see plenty of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass, kind of looking like a snow globe. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled pretty damn dank from the beginning. Got Riwaka, weed, grapefruit, stone fruit, peach, Nelson, tangerine rind, viney berry, white wine and Galaxy. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted just as good as the nose. This was a great beer. Riwaka stood out, but Nelson and Galaxy were right there. Specifically dank weed, viney berry, grapefruit, peach, tangerine rind, white wine, stone fruit, passion fruit and lingering peppery spice. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth, but spicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Another excellent IPA from Burgeon (and Ghost Town too). So dank, so good. (Overall - 4.25)
