Glass: Pure Project 14-oz. snifter elemental (fire) glass
Price: $4.69
From: Windmill Farms in San Diego (Del Cerro), Calif.
Purchased: Sept. 21, 2022
Consumed: Oct. 19, 2022
Misc.: Canned on Sept. 14, 2022
Went to Windmill Farms specifically for Dino Park, a collab between Toppling Goliath and North Park. Unfortunately it wasn’t there so instead I bought 12 singles and a 6-pack of Aurora Hoppyalis. Burgeon description for this was “You’ve had it on draft, you loved it, we canned it, & we are stoked to share it with y’all wrapped in bright colors to match the staggeringly juicy beer within! Poured a light golden hazy color with 4-to-5 fingers of rocky white head. Could see lots of bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass at fast speeds. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled that El Dorado right away, with Galaxy right behind and Motueka way back. Also got mango, watermelon, melon, passion fruit, pineapple, peach, pear, lemon, herbal and tropical zest. Much better from the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted about as good as the nose. El Dorado, mango, watermelon, melon, Galaxy, passion fruit, pineapple, peach, pear, lemon, Motueka, herbal, tropical zest, grapefruit rind and floral. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Juicy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
I think I slightly underrated this overall but it was really good. (Overall - 4.00)

16oz can, dated 9/14/22.
The first thing I noticed is the lack of hop aroma, but rather a subdued sour, spoiled fruit aroma. This beer is clearly infected, with flavors of yeasty esters (Isoamyl acetate) and green apple (acetaldehyde) dominating. It's slightly acidic, has this off banana-like sweetness and out-of-place acidity. The look is not good either—unfiltered and murky with suspended yeast rather than orange-juice-like thick haze. It's a rare bad experience coming from an otherwise excellent brewery.
