Went to Windmill Farms for a West Coast IPA Burgeon/North Park/Pure Project collab and came away with a handful of other beers and a 6-pack of Enegren. Untappd’s description was “Fresh Hop Treevana brewed with Fresh Frozen Mosaic Cryo Hops and Fresh Harvested Amarillo.” Was really looking forward to this one because I like regular Treevana (4.25) so much.
Poured a medium yellow clear color with 4-to-5 fingers of rocky white head. Could see roaming waves coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled awesome. In order got Mosaic, Amarillo, dank resin, pine, Juicy Fruit gum, mango, tangerine, stone fruit, mixed berry, fruit punch and passion fruit. Almost as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.50)
Tasted Mosaic, Amarillo, dank resin, pine, black pepper, Juicy Fruit, mango, mixed berry, stone fruit, tangerine, fruit punch, passion fruit and wet grass. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Soft carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.75)
Damn this beer was great. Can’t wait to have it again. (Overall - 4.50)
