Snuck over to Windmill Farms before heading to Pure Project and North Park, mainly to see what kind of newish North Park stuff they had. Came across this one from Burgeon. Online description for this one was “West Coast IPA collaboration with SD Beer News hopped with Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe, Motueka, and Cashmere.”
Poured a medium yellow clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of white frothy head. Plenty of bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass at different speeds. World-class spiderweb foamy lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled big Mosaic, floral, raspberry, mango, Simcoe, garlic, papaya, mixed berry, red grapefruit and hints of trashy spoiled fruit. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted big Mosaic, raspberry, floral, mango, papaya, mixed berry, red grapefruit, Simcoe, Citra, grass, lemon, herbal and iced tea. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, soft finish. (Feel - 4.50)
This was a really good beer. So smooth as it went down. (Overall - 4.25)
