Almost every time I got to Windmill Farms there is a new Burgeon beer. Online description on Craftshack was “Tier One Pale Ale is our newest collaboration with Ben and Woods of San Diego's 97.3 FM Friar-inspired morning talk show. Loaded with Mosaic, Citra, Nelson, and Chinook hop, our head brewer Anthony gets notes of sweet citrus, ripe grapefruit, lemon heads, peach, white gummy bear, and light pine from this crushable & aromatic Pale Ale.”

Poured a medium golden clear color with two fingers of frothy white head. Could see some sporadic bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. World-class uneven spiderweb foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.50)

Smelled Citra and Nelson up front with Mosaic and Chinook on the backend. Also grapefruit rind, tangerine, lemon, lime, pine, citrus and peach skin. Much better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)

Tasted about as good as the nose. In order got Nelson, Citra, Chinook and Mosaic. Specifically got pine, resin, lemon, lime, grapefruit rind, tangerine, citrus and peach skin. (Taste - 4.00)

Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, dank finish. (Feel - 4.25)

Another solid offering from Burgeon. This was an outstanding pale ale. (Overall - 4.00)
