The 2025 edition of All Forms is *clearly* not a NEIPA, so they must have changed the style to Imperial IPA. Thanks for that! This is a nice example of a DIPA and quite sippable.
Crystal clear bright amber brew with abundant foam in the Leute Bokbier glass. Aroma of orange peel and blueberries. Sweet and tangy with a substantial body. A little thick for the carbonation, but sharp finish and tingly, bitter aftertaste. It's really, really fruity with citrus. From the 16 oz can purchased at San Diego Wine & Beer. Dated 11/15/24.

Poured a clear bright yellow with a medium head.
Smells somewhat resinous of pine.
Fine mouth feel.
Not to bitter.
Tastes some of line, with some griot overtones.

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England Double / Imperial IPA
Glass: Pure Project 16-oz. snifter glass
Price: $4.99
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Nov. 30, 2021
Consumed: Dec. 29, 2021
Misc.: Collaboration with Alvarado Street; Canned on Nov. 11, 2021
I always get new Burgeon beers when I see them at Windmill Farms. Untappd description was “DDH Hazy DIPA brewed in collaboration with our friends at Alvarado St Brewery. Hopped with only hand-selected lots of Mosaic and Mosaic Cryo from both breweries and an added dose of Mosaic Incognito.”
Poured a light golden hazy color with three fingers of rocky white head. Could see just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect layered lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled great right away. Got all that Mosaic along with Juicy Fruit, bubblegum, rose blossom, floral, mango, blueberry and tangerine. Almost as good from the can. (Smell - 4.50)
Tasted just about as good as the nose. Damn. Got big Mosaic, Juicy Fruit, bubblegum, rose blossom, floral, mango, mango creamsicle, vanilla, blueberry and tangerine. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Damn. This was a banger. Well done, Burgeon. Well done, Alvarado Street. (Overall - 4.50)
