Polar Shift Cold IPA! Shimmering with vibrant tropical aromas & flavors of guava, ripe berries, coconut, and mango, this new approach to hoppy beers highlights some of our favorite qualities of Mosaic and Citra. On the palate, we experience a restrained bitterness paired with a soft yet crisp body and an icy clean finish.

From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.

Went to Windmill Farms for some bread and a 6-pack of Enegren’s The Lightest One, and came back with nine other singles. Online description was “Polar Shift Cold IPA! Poured a medium yellow clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of white frothy head. Lots of fast-moving bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Excellent spotty lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Mosaic, body odor, skunky weed, grapefruit peel, Citra and grass. Not as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. In order got Mosaic, body odor, skunky weed, herbal, red grapefruit peel, mango, Citra, grass and lingering peppery spice. Grew on me a little bit as it went down. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.25)
This one got better each sip. Just lovely. (Overall - 4.00)
