The planet has spun into the precise position for maximum enjoyment of our latest Cold IPA, Axis Rotation. We took two of our favorite Southern Hemisphere hops, Galaxy & Vic Secret, and upended tradition to deliver their tropical flavors & aromas from an entirely new and delicious perspective. This brew will have you reaching for your parka (& another pint) from the first gulp til the final, satisfying sip.

Price: $4.29
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: July 15, 2022
Consumed: July 31, 2022
Misc.: Canned on June 29, 2022
Went to grab a 6-pack and a few cans at Windmill Farms and came home with 29 beers, spending way too much money. Burgeon’s website called this beer “The planet has spun into the precise position for maximum enjoyment of our latest Cold IPA, Axis Rotation. Poured a clear straw color with 3-to-4 fingers of rocky white head. Could see lots of bubbles coming up along the sides and bottom of the glass. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy-to-foggy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Enjoyed the nose with Galaxy flavors leading the way. Specifically peach, nectarine, passion fruit, kiwi, lime, pear, apple, hints of Vic Secret, pineapple, pine and dry grass. Smelled just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted about as good as the nose with Galaxy still standing out. Also peach, nectarine, passion fruit, kiwi, lime, pear, green apple, pineapple, hints of the mentioned Vic Secret, pine and dry grass. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Just a lovely Cold IPA, maybe my favorite yet. (Overall - 4.25)
