Grabbed a 4-pack of Enegren and a bunch of other stuff on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Bine & Vine’s website called this “Prepare to be caught in a loop that spans beyond time, where old-school hops blend with contemporary varieties & techniques all stuffed into one can. Poured a straw-to-pale yellow clear color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see tons of bubble streams coming up along the sides and the bottom of the glass at fast speeds. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Really nice on the nose. The Simcoe and Mosaic stood out, followed by Centennial, Cascade and Amarillo. Specifically got floral, mixed berry, tangerine, orange, pine, grapefruit, dank resin, papaya, mango, guava and citrus zest. Just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. In order got Simcoe, Mosaic, Centennial, pine, wood, grapefruit, dank resin, black pepper, mixed berry, floral, mango, papaya, Amarillo, tangerine, orange, Cascade, lemon zest and lingering spice. (Taste - 4.25)
Light body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Spicy, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Just a really nice West Coast IPA. Usually not a fan of four or more hops in a beer but this worked for me. Excellent. (Overall - 4.25)
