Tastes like sweet tea. It tasted good, and was truly unique in its flavor profile. Very floral in nose, mouthfeel was sweet with hints of lemon as well.

A: Cloudy dark orange color, not much head. A lot of sediment floating around.
S: Tons of tea right up front, some vanilla, a little of the actual ale.
T: Juicy tea, floral all over, maybe a mess of flavors, but it's well put together.
M: Light body and high carb.
O: For what it is, I thought it was great. Something I'd have where I can drink it all day. This is the first tea infused beer that I've tried and it was great. (I've had that kombucha crap, that is nasty). Definitely getting more for sure.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a taster
L: Hazy copper pink pour. Thick off-white head. Great lacing.
S: Tea and fruit... sweet/tart. Light grains.
T/F: Sweet tea and fruit. Mildly tart with some acidity. Orange and lemon... pomegranate. Complex for a radler. Some grains come through without much in the way of hop presence. Light and drinkable.
O: Sweet/tart.. not unpleasant.... the tea and jam comes through. Light and easy drinking. Would be great poolside or on the lawnmower.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a pint glass. Nice off white head that had staying power, and a deep amber colored body. Fruity aroma. On the first sip all I could think of was Snapple Peach Ice Tea! This beer is very very sweet. The low abv of 3.80% makes almost a near-beer. I could see having this at lunch on a work day in the warm weather, when you want a bit of alcohol, a bit of ice tea, and something sweet with your sandwich and chips. Otherwise I find it too sweet to drink.

A: The beer is quite hazy yellowish brown in color. It poured with a finger high off white head that died down, leaving a short head covering the surface and lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of sweet tea and strawberry preserves are present in the nose.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste has flavors of sweet tea and strawberry jam along with underlying hints of the amber ale. There is a light to moderate amount of sweetness and no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The name of this beer is really appropriate as there are strong aromas and flavors of strawberry jam, which become very prominent as the beer warms up. It is very easy to drink.

I began the evening with this week's #WatermelonWednesday entry & I am CANtinuing with another Radler from Owl's Brew. It's a tough life here at Chez Woody, but somebody CAN take over when I relinquish the reigns. Viva The CANQuest (tm)!
From the CAN: "Amber ale blended with brewed darjeeling tea, hibiscus flower, lemon peel, fruit juices & agave nectar"; "Beer & Tea [-] The Perfect Double-Brew"; "*Drink Wise*"; "How'd we name our Radler? Well ... strawberries for one ... But for realz: we love our Rad Brews, and are proud to put our names on this one. [undersigned Jennie & Maria]"; "Do us a solid and fill in the blank: I drink @theowlbrew when I ___________." My blank would read: "... think of my late Pops, an avid bicyclist who also had an affinity for owls."; "What the Hoot is a Radler? When we first batched up our refreshing double-brew we were amazed by its robust & eminently quaffable flavor. We imagined people imbibing our summer breeze of a beverage. We thought of outdoor concerts ... days on boats ... and those wintry hours when all you want to do is sip some sunshine. Then we remembered the Radler, a beer style invented in 1922 for cyclists: a bold flavor but easy enough that following a tipple, the bikers didn't topple. Our premium blend is an homage to inventor Franz Kugler's flavorful and sessionable vision. So, there you go - a tot of tea, a ration of beer and a dash of history. Keep On Riding ..."
Time for one last ride today, beginning with a Crack! & inverted Glug. Man, did the head ever come up quickly on this one! I allowed it to settle into three-plus fingers of dense, puffy, pinkish head with excellent retention. The cloudy turbidity in these radler beers is simply remarkable! Color was a Coppery-Brown (SRM = > 17, < 22), but it looked like a fruit smoothie in the glass. Nose had an undefined sweet berry-like smell. I have no doubt that strawberries were involved, but so were a number of other fruits. It kind of smelled like Mixed Fruit jelly that comes in those little packets at the diner. Mmm. Mouthfeel was big & thick, not unlike a smoothie. Here, I could taste the strawberry a bit more prevalently, although I did get hints of other sweet fruits & the hibiscus was not hiding, either. A lot of dense, sticky lacing began to form in the glass as I drank. Finish was sweet, sweeter than the previous two in the series, but still drinkable & refreshing. This is certainly an interesting CANcept from these two ladies.

A thanks to the commander of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a muddy river color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of tea, lemons, light berries. Taste is the same as the aroma, light tartness, very refreshing. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

This looks like pureed, gelatinized strawberry preserves, or, dare i say jam?...with a large, slightly pink fluffy head.
I smell lots of earthy tea first, with a little green bean, oddly enough. Then a hint of prune juice and strawberry interrupts.
Taste is much sweeter than smell, with strawberry, and again, an odd prune juice element--I think the tea does that to the strawberry. The earthy tea takes a middle ground stance, and some lemon honey comes in on the back end.
Not sickly sweet like Short and Stout, but pretty close. Lightly fizzy, thin, watery, and somehow semi-dry.
