neat beer, i forgot how cool this place is because i was pretty buzzed up when i rolled through the first time years ago, but what an idyllic summer setting this place has, gorgeous backyard area, fun beer list, mellow vibes, taco truck, what more does anyone need? this is a tasty grisette, listed at 4.4% abv when i was in so some batch variance apparently. very light in the glass, lighted than golden and just frosted, with a sunny glow and an average bone white head. the nose is neat, yeast driven with some high tone white wine and green apple esters but also some cool grain character in support, some light rye spice perhaps, a white pepper note, clean lemon, herbaceous and verdant. the flavor follows, a belgian and french vibe to the yeast, but not totally clean either, some rustic funkiness to it without it being bretty, interesting enough to hold my attention for sure, non generic. the spice is all on the swallow, there is a rawness to in its lightness, unmalted wheat maybe, maybe a really short boil on it, maybe both. the hop profile is subtle but citrusy and gives freshness to it, also nicely selected for this yeast, the hops are real compatible with this ester profile. faintly astringent as it warms, highly carbonated, and light but not watery in body. a style i love to see on a beer menu when i walk into a place, and they executed this very well. distinctive, summery as the name suggests, and layered. this place is awesome.

Draft at brewery. Pale straw color, light cloudiness, wispy head. Light aroma is grassy, grainy, floral. taste come is soft and gentle, mellow flavors, fruity. Excellent throughout and perfect summer beer.
