June 2015: 330 ml bottle, as Zwönitzer India Pale Ale, from the Danish importer. ABV is 6.8%. Malts are pale and pilsener, hops are Citra, Simcoe, Cascade and Amarillo. Cloudy deep golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Aroma of fruity and spicy hops. some woody notes too. The flavour is medium sweet and quite bitter, fairly distinct hops throughout, also some woody notes. The balance is not entirely perfect. Not the best IPA I’ve had, but not the worst either.

Pours hazy and dark golden with a thin had. Smells fruity like lemon and maybe peach but overlapped by heavy malt. Taste and feel is quite unbalanced. The heavy and quite sweet maltyness is followed by a hoppy bitterness and is slightly sour. Overall an ok IPA, but the brewery should work on it.
