Had Incognito Mode at the WanderLinger Taproom on draft into tulip pint.
Pours apparently black but deep gold-brown with clarity when backlit, and a 1-finger khaki head, with good retention, stranding a little chunky lace at the top of the glass. Initial aroma of mild hop spice, and as warms mild roast malt and toffee. Begins with just a little carbonation, over a smooth body, delivering mild nutty caramel malt, with just a bit of hop bite to dry the finish.
Smooth, mild, with just enough hop bite to keep the beer from cloying, and to keep 'em coming.
