12oz can. Bottom stamp is 'batch#3818 STOUT best by 06/09/25'.
Dark brown colored body with a wide honey brown back lit edge. Two fingers of beige colored head with the pour, and this sticks around as an interrupted cap and ring. The ring clings to the glass and makes partial walls as the body is reduced.
Aroma of dark roasted malts, with the presence of coffee and chocolate.
Taste is also with dark roasted malts that express coffee and chocolate, but also include a bit of char for bitterness and a touch of vanilla for sweetness. The aftertaste goes more bitter and sticks with the dark roast coffee flavor.
Medium mouthfeel. Metallic note that dries the mouth and tongue. Good carbonation.
Solid and simple stout that is flavored by the dark roasted malts and not by adjuncts or added ingredients.

The pour is the color of medium roasted coffee but with additional shade, or black tint to it. Curious, but certainly not off putting. The beige head was excellent.
The taste is a quite solid representation of the style; coffee and chocolate with a hint of dark fruit and a little nutty flavor. Props for the coffee harshness touch at the swallow.
The feel is also very typical of the style; the oatmeal offers a nice texture that is usually only found in beer with oatmeal.
OA, nice stout, certainly one I’d be happy to have on tap if it was local to me.
