Look:
Pours a hazy golden orange with a generous one and a quarter finger head. Excellent lacing and retention.
Aroma:
Sticky pine resin. Bit of candle wax / potpourri. Burnt citrus and very mild guava.
Taste:
Mellow and approachable. Lots of overripe, musky citrus peel with backend of wet grass / lawn clippings. Slight malty butterscotch note.
Feel:
Thick and hearty. Undetectable abv. Not boozy or hot but certainly rich. Low carb.
Overall:
I don’t have much experience with traditional English IPAs, but I liked this. Definitely get the influence from the musky/earthy english hops, but also has some American IPA influence as well.
