Look:
Pours a hazy apricot yellow/orange with a one finger, dense head of foam. Laces the glass very well, excellent head retention.
Aroma:
Funky oak wood and juicy mango, with hints of blackberry and apricot jam.
Taste:
Follows the nose. Upfront semi sweet grapefruit and orange cream soda. Not as sour as the un barrel aged version but still slightly tart. Barrel influence comes in mid palate with oaky notes of toasted wood and light campfire smoke. Goes malty towards the finish with sweet notes of granola and apricot jam.
Feel:
Creamy and hearty, low carbonation.
