Solid hybrid of a malt liquor and IPA. Aroma of European noble hops and honey-like malt. Nice mouth feel, slightly oily and dextrin. Excellent level of bitterness. Crystal clear and golden. Slight head doesn’t persist. Recommend.

My first from this brewery. They look like they could have some interesting beers. Thanks to rudzud for this one apparently, and no date on the bottom of the can.
Pours a smaller fizzy head that fades at a med pace, decent soapy lacing, hazy pale orange color.
nose fresh hops, grassy, floral, a little citrus and fruity, a touch of a candy sweet malt, but fairly light all around. As it warms a little less muted, some fruity almost pineapple tropical, little candied citrus, then some woodsy earthy hop aromas, and a touch of that minerality that sometimes comes from lager.
Taste brings a lttle sweet malt, reddish toasty malt, with soft lager notes and fruity lager yeast, some hops, herbal out front, with floral grassy notes, some fruit with a little tropical again hint pineapple, some citrus and a little tree fruit esters coming with the warming booze, a little cereal grain, toasty, a bit of candied fruit. Finishes a bit sticky sweet, some toasted malts, not much lager characters, a bit more spicy grassy herbal hops. Lagering bringing a touch of minerality as it warms.
Mouth is med bod but a bit sticky sweet for a lager, light carb, a little softness and a little alcohol, lack of carbonation and sticky sweetness are a bit tough.
Overall OK, nothing special, not necessarily what I'm looking for in an IPL but not too bad, although for a lager it's a bit too sticky sweet, bit too boozy, not enough lager components that seem to be drowned by the sweet candy like malts and big hops, but not bad.

Picked up a 6 pack of this from the brewery after the Mott the Lesser release. An individual who worked for this brewery walked through the Mott the Lesser line telling people to come check the brewery out afterwards as they were canning this beer for the first time that very day. Located effectively in the Kittery Outlets this place was practically on the way home so why not give them a try. Hopped with Warrior, Cascade, and Azacca.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice crystal clear golden orange hue with a thin half finger white head that faded slowly to leave a thin wispy blanket and decent halo.
S - Aromas of nice azacca hops, some citrus on the nose along with a juicy fruit gum like tropical aroma. Nice floral notes thanks to the cascade. Very light malt characteristics.
T - Taste is similar to the nose though far more subtle. There is some pleasant citrus notes, very very light generic tropical flavours. Finish is nicely bitter thanks to the warrior hops.
M - Mouthfeel is, hands down, the weakest part of this beer. Carbonation is minimal which results in a rather thin/watery feel.
O - Overall this beer wasn't bad persay. Certainly not something I would turn away if given. With a better mouthfeel/body it would be much, much better. Brewery opened not even a month ago so hopefully they can dial that in. Worth checking out if I'm in the area again.
