Bought on a whim cuz it was freshly canned. Underwhelming malt backbone, a little thin all around in fact. Tartness is there but not much of the berry flavor comes through. Drinkable but boring.

Pint can celler temp poured into Pilsner pint glass
Pours a tarnished brass - semi-translucent color with a fizzy off-white head that quickly settles to nothing at all, save for gorgeous streams of brilliant carbonation. Looks dazzling.
Nose is tart wheat, more wheat, a hint of raspberry fruitiness, a touch of light spice, maybe coriander, and wheat. Smells like a wheat beer.
Palate is slightly tart wheat, a touch of hop bitterness, light spice, and the raspberry is almost nonexistent until the tail end and into the finish. It pips at the end. Note- the more I drink, the more that raspberry flavor goes away. Taking a little break and coming back to it brings that raspberry note back up, and it really does need that touch of fruit to it. The tartness is present, but very faint, and it leaves me longing for more of a sour note. Tacky wheat sweetness dominates the middle palate and the finish, once you start drinking it. It's wheaty. More of that fruity raspberry flavor would take this up a few steps. The alcohol presence is there, and it truly tastes like there's more than 3.8%. I'd say it tastes closer to 5.8%. But I'll trust their numbers.
Feel is odd on this one. A little sharp on the very tip of the tongue, but soft and even a little bit flat throughout the rest of the mouth. More bubbles would benefit this beer. Again, it finished a bit tacky, like a poorly executed wheat beer.
Overall, this was a little disappointing. It isn't bad by any means, it's just lacking in a few crucial areas. The raspberry isn't really there. The tartness is much too tame for my taste, it's a bit too wheaty in that sappy wheaty way, and I feel it's a touch undercarbonated. Nevertheless, it's enjoyable enough. I'd never consider pouring it out, and I'd take it over MANY other lesser beers. It's on the better side of average, and I can't say I will buy it again, though I will gladly return to enjoying the rest of my pint.
