Pour is crystal clear deep golden yellow with a nice finger of chalk white head.
Nose is pine, grapefruit rind
Taste follows. Pine, grapefruit rind, berries, hint of lemon, a bit dank, nice bitterness with a touch of resin on the finish. low/moderate biscuit malt backbone. Nicely balanced.
clean, crisp and refreshing. good beer.

draft taster straight from the brewery (#2 of 5 in my flight)
A: clear, light gold body and an off-white head with low retention that settles down into a thin ring of foam
S: a balanced bittersweet aroma of earthy hops and tropical fruit with a malty sweetness coursing through the backbone
T: follows the nose exactly. bright tropical fruits, bittersweet earthy hop, low-key but solid malt backing
F: high carbonation, medium-light body. lush feeling with a light dry finish that lightly coats the tongue
Overall (personal opinion):
solid american ipa that these guys must update the recipe on quite often. the times call for a tropic-friendly ipa, and they deliver here.

Not as thirst quenching as the brewer's description, but it is November/almost December in Austin. A great citrus taste on a burp. 3.75
A - Ugly - cloudy pale orangish yellow. Unfiltered hopefully. Good lacing. 3.5
S - Citrus/orange and pine. 3.75
T - At 7.5 ABV maybe a bit much to be called an American IPA. Not a hop bomb and by no means overly bitter, but . . . 4.0
MF - Medium body, dry finish, smooth. 4.0

They must have reworked the recipe. The one I'm drinking is 7.5% and. Hazy, semi dry, pine bitterness on the finish. Peach, orange and mango mid palate. Dank and earthy grass. Medium bodied. Really solid IPA.
