On tap at the brewery tasting room. It sounds so good on paper: made with maple syrup and cacao nibs and "aged on toasted oak staves." Yes, it's quite aromatic.
Modest flavors and the spices don't overpower. Rather mild dark roasted malt. On the sweet side. The oak aging adds some more subtle woodsy notes and some vanilla comes through. On the peculiar side. I'd try it again out of curiousity.
