Go ahead and set sail for the sea of tropical goodness. We loaded this hazy double with tons of galaxy and mosaic to tantalize the senses. Don’t sit on it, go ahead and drink it fresh and don’t share.
To infinity and beyond.

No canned date, but recently released
Appearance - Pours hazy and pale gold in color with a white, half finger width head. Fair retention results in a thin, broken layer of suds. Lacing consists of broken webbing and small spotting.
Smell - Fruity, yeasty and slightly tart aroma. Melon is quite noticeable.
Taste - Follows the nose. Mellow notes of honeydew melon. Notes of orange and pineapple begin to develop as it warms. Slight spice develops past the mid-point. Juicy finish with melon and lesser pineapple mostly showcasing.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick drinker that finishes smooth and easy.
Overall - Good drinker but Lead Dog needs to work on upping the tropical juiciness of this guy, because while good, it doesn't quite deliver what the description promises.

Thanks, Chad!
Got this as part of a nice haul from Chad with Darin as the middleman. Would be my first hoppy Lead Dog beer, having had their Anything Gose (from Chad) before. The can read, “Go ahead and set sail for the sea of tropical goodness. We loaded this hazy double with tons of galaxy and mosaic to tantalize the senses. Don’t sit on it, go ahead and drink it fresh and don’t share. To infinity and beyond.” Well Mosaic is my favorite hop and Galaxy is generally hit and miss. Was really looking forward to it.
Poured a golden hazy color with two fingers of frothy white head. Could see a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. World-class spiderweb foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled orange juice, pineapple, orange blossom, guava, floral, Mosaic, papaya, nectarine, peach, white grape and light Galaxy. From the can the Galaxy is more pronounced, along with the tropical notes. (Smell - 3.75)
Taste followed the nose for the most part. In order got orange juice, pineapple, Simply Tropical Juice, guava, mango, papaya, nectarine, peach skin, floral and bitter berries. More Mosaic than Galaxy, but neither dominated. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Abrupt juicy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
A very good NE Style DIPA. Was close to a 4 on the smell and taste, but couldn’t quite pull the trigger. (Overall - 3.75)
