Pours a hazy golden color with a two finger retentive head.
Smells of pine and citrus... Some yeasty undertones.
Nice quick bitter bite in the front, fades to a citrusy and grape flavor all the way through the mid into the finish.

Type: 16-oz. can
Glass: Firestone 14-oz. Teku glass

Thanks, Chad!
Got this from Chad via Bill at the 2019 Firestone Invitational in one of our beer exchanges. Ignoring the bullshit on the back of the can, the actual description of the beer I found called it a, “Hazy IPA brewed with Citra, Mosaic & Simcoe.” That’s three of my favorite five hops or so.
Poured a golden semi-hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of off-white frothy head. Lots of different bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Good spotty lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled dank pine, Simcoe, Citra, trashy Mosaic, melon, passion fruit and pineapple. Much better out of the can with Simcoe, Mosaic, mango, passion fruit and pineapple shining through. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted better than the nose. Tougher to pick out hops here. Got dank pine, passion fruit, pineapple, melon, light Mosaic, mango peel, Citra and Simcoe. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt finish. (Feel - 3.75)
Very good overall. Glad I got to try it. (Overall - 3.75)

Appearance - Pours opaque mild orange in color with an off-white, half finger width head that doesn't stick around long, leaving behind a thin, broken layer of suds and a ring around the edges. Lacing is okay, with thin broken webbing devolving to broken lines and small spotting.
Smell - Juicy, yeasty aroma with mild tropical notes and lesser citrus and pineapple.
Taste - Juicy with lots of guava, papaya, and lesser melon notes of cantaloupe and honeydew melon. Mild citrus. Hint of pineapple in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with low-to-moderate carbonation. Soft, velvety smooth texture makes this a damn easy drinker.
Overall - Similar in many ways to Conan's Wrath. So much so that a side-by-side might be warranted. It's very, very good, regardless. More flavor than Wrath, IIRC. Now bring on the TIPA Conan vs Zeus!
