Sometimes it takes a second try to perfect something. We believed with a second try we could make this series even better. "Take 2" is a revised version of our idea of a North-East Style Pale Ale. But in IPA fashion, low-ABV, less bitterness, crispness, yet creamy and drinkable all day long.

Thanks, Bill!
Got this one from Bill on a recent work trip. This would be my sixth Lead Dog beer that I would review, ranging from 3.67-to-4.15 on the others. Had an awesome flight from them on the same flight, ranging from 4.00-to-4.25. Was hoping that this one would be in that range. Can label was, “Sometimes it takes a second try to prefect something. We believed with a second try we could make this series even better. ‘Take 2’ is a revised version of our idea of a North-East style pale ale, but in IPA fashion. Poured a golden hazy color with 1-to-2 fingers of off-white frothy head. Lots of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Decent watery lacing. Decent retention. (Sight - 3.50)
Smelled pineapple, grapefruit, melon, tangerine, orange sorbet and peach skin. From the can got Citra, but couldn’t put a name to any other hop. (Smell - 3.50)
Tasted similar to the nose. Got Citra, pineapple, melon, orange sorbet, peach skin and tangerine. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Thin texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 3.50)
A good beer overall. Very light and refreshing. (Overall - 3.50)
